FIRST CONTACT
Whether you have binders full of ideas about your home or just a few notes, we can start wherever you are. Call or email today with a brief description of your project, and we’ll schedule an Initial Design meeting with you at your earliest convenience.
INITIAL DESIGN MEETING
The purpose of this meeting is to establish the key features to include in the design: square footage, number of rooms, architectural style, any unique requirements, etc. Our primary goal is for everyone involved to be on the same page, and share a common vision for the outcome of the project.
WORKING DRAWINGS
Next, we draw a working floor plan according to the parameters and goals established in the design meeting. A rendering is also drawn by hand, to provide a clear visualization of the final product. This first iteration often hits close to the mark, but it’s always understood to be a starting point.
REVIEW
Our mission is for each house we design to be our customer’s dream home. This is the phase of the process where we make changes, big or small, to zero in on exactly what you have in mind. We will revise as many times as necessary until a final design is approved — by you.
ENGINEERING & FINAL PLANS
Once you’ve approved a final design, we take care of the rest. An engineer reviews the design, and we create all the construction documents necessary to begin construction. We can coordinate directly with a builder in your area, anywhere in the country.
